4-H SPARK: Microscope Exploration of Living Soil

Participants will be introduced to the world of microscopy, gaining a foundational understanding of microscope components and usage. Youth will observe and identify various specimens on pre made slides, learn how to create their own microscope slides, and observe various living microorganisms found in soil samples. Understand how microorganisms can impact soil health and prevent disease, contributing to sustainable and productive farming practices.

This class is for 4-H members.
