Join us for a hands-on experience that bridges the worlds of agriculture and timber industries at Bowman & Son Lumber Co. Learn about the intricacies of saw milling and lumber production and explore the crucial connection between forestry and agriculture. Understand how responsible land management practices contribute to both thriving forests and agricultural landscapes. Examine the diverse applications of lumber in agriculture, including fencing, construction, and other farming infrastructure. Youth will gain insights into how saw milling operations generate byproducts that can be utilized in agriculture by using wood chips, bark, and other residuals in farming practices.
